An expectation many will change their Netflix habits in light of price increases

The streaming giant is increasing prices on its basic plan from 13-dollars to 15-dollars a month.

Standard and premium plans will also rise in cost.

Volunteer budget advisor David Verry says even small increases can pile up on other increasing costs, like rent and food.

Verry says having some form of entertainment can be important in feeling good.
