Selena Gomez is said to be feeling "secure and happy" with Benny Blanco

The 31-year-old actress has been in a relationship with music producer Benny, 36, for almost a year and an insider has now claimed they are likely to be together for the rest of their lives

An insider told Us Weekly: "He makes Selena laugh. He makes her feel secure and happy. They both think they've found the person they'll be with forever."

A separate source told the outlet 'Only Murders in the Building' star Selena - who previously dated the likes of Justin Bieber and The Weeknd - has been discussing marriage with her new boyfriend.

They added: "Friends and family couldn't be [more excited] for her. he definitely sees this relationship going the distance. They've talked about marriage and having children and are very much on the same page."

Former Disney Channel regular Selena - who collaborated with her boyfriend on the songs 'Same Old Love', 'Single Soon' and 'I Can't Get Enough was recently said to be loving life with the record producer, even though they had to be apart because of their busy work commitments.

A source told PEOPLE: "They are so in love. It's a very serious relationship, and they're making long-distance work while she's in New York for work commitments."

Selena confirmed her relationship with Benny in December when a fan confronted her about her social media presence with him amid the speculation.

The follower wrote: "If you can't handle the hate then stop posting pictures of your boyfriend lol - it should be special between you two only. Don't be mad at your fans."

She replied: "Not mad. It's been six months."
