Two South Auckland women have been accused of shoplifting immediately after they left court where they had fronted on theft charges

Two South Auckland women have been accused of shoplifting immediately after they left court where they had fronted on theft charges

Police allege the 18-and-29-year-old tried stealing 18-hundred-dollars worth of goods from a shop as soon as they left Pukekohe District Court on Tuesday.

They're also looking for another woman involved.

Senior Sergeant Mary Riddle accuses the trio of stealing a number plate off a car parked outside the courthouse.

She says they then travelled to several shops in Pukekohe, where they're alleged to have stolen hundreds of dollars worth of items, before being caught.
