An increased police presence on Wellington's roads overnight has disrupted antisocial drivers plans

An increased police presence on Wellington's roads overnight has disrupted antisocial drivers plans

Operation Kereru saw three licences suspended, 32 infringements issued, three vehicles impounded, and three drivers found with excess alcohol levels within the Hutt Valley area.

Acting Area Prevention Manager, Senior Sergeant Samuel Avison, says it sends a clear message to anyone wanting to participate in illegal activity which keeps residents awake, damages roads and puts people in danger.
