    Tohu Harris has explained why the decision to retire from rugby league was taken out of his hands

    The 33-year-old sent shockwaves around the NRL last month when he hung up the boots due to a chronic wrist injury which plagued his campaign last year.

    Harris says he had every intention to keep playing beyond this season, but doctors said the long-term consequences were too risky.
