The Government is confident changes to the Active Investor Plus visa will pay off quickly

The Government is confident changes to the Active Investor Plus visa will pay off quickly

The changes will see two new simplified investment categories.

One requires at least $5 million over three years; the other needs a minimum $10 million over five years.

The government has also removed the English language requirement.

Immigration Minister Erica Stanford says they're hopeful of returning to 2019 numbers.

Ms Stanford says before the last Government's changes, 219 Investor One and Two visas were approved in principle and were given residence, and she's confident it'll move back up to that quickly.
