A warning - about Arepa brand beverage - The Brain Drink

A warning - about Arepa brand beverage - The Brain Drink

New Zealand Food Safety's recalling specific batches of the 300 millilitre bottles of the drink due to chipping of the glass on the top of the bottle.

One person has already reported an injury.

Deputy director-general Vincent Arbuckle says the affected products - which are sold at supermarkets and retailers nationwide and in Australia - have been removed from store shelves.

He urges anyone to return affected products for a refund or to throw them out.
