Ariana Madix wants to "have fun" with her hair

The Love Island USA host, 40, recently dyed her blonde hair darker and she's loving her new brunette look, but Ariana admits she is planning to change it again when she gets "bored" and is considering opting for a red or pink shade.

She told PEOPLE: "Whenever I want to change my hair, so many people would be like: 'Don't do it' I'm like it's hair, and I want to have fun with it.

"I think it's so fun to change things up. Obviously, when we're shooting Love Island, we do a lot of different fun looks, and I was like, 'Let's do a real-life, different fun look.'"

She went on to add: "[After dyeing her hair darker] I was really telling myself when [the hairstylist] first was blow-drying me, and then when I looked at it, I just was like: 'Oh, this makes sense. I don't know why it wasn't like this all the time'."

However, she's open to changing up her look again soon and opting for a more dramatic shade.

She said: "I've always wanted to go red. And I've always loved the idea of just a really fun, very unnatural color. I don't know what I would do, maybe pink or something."

Ariana is an ambassador for haircare brand TRESemme and she's a big fan of the company's products as they have helped add shine to her new darker tresses.

She said: "The Lamellar Gloss collection. I love this finishing oil. I feel like the dark hair really pops with the shine if you use the finishing oil and I've been having a lot of fun with that."

Ariana - who began hosting Love Island USA in 2024 - previously revealed it requires a "team effort" to prepare her glitzy outfits for the series.

She told E! News: "I definitely have a lot of input with the looks but it's a team effort, from Emily Men, my stylist.

"We do fittings before I leave and we are constantly sending each other inspo. Then she finds the most amazing things and then once we get here, we get the looks."
