Ashton Kipa got the girl's number through his work at a primary school, met with her in central Auckland and offered her LSD, magic mushrooms, and cannabis.
Her mother found out within a week.
The 46-year-old argued his August sentence of just over two years jail - and being placed on the sex offender register - was too strict.
High Court judge Justice Geoffrey Venning today rejected his bid - saying the prison term could have been longer.
