Noah Wyle was "truly humbled" by his Golden Globe Awards win on Sunday (11.01.26)

The 54-year-old actor won the Best Male Actor - Drama prize for The Pitt, and he took the time to praise the work of his "incredible" fellow nominees, who included Sterling K Brown (Paradise), Diego Luna (Andor), Gary Oldman (Slow Horses), Mark Ruffalo (Task), and Adam Scott (Severance) during his acceptance speech.

Speaking on stage at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, he said: "What a truly humbling moment this is.

"I'm so incredibly grateful and I don't know how to say all my gratitude for 54 years in 60 seconds.

"I'm indebted to so many people, I've been inspired by so many people, many of whom I've had the great honour to be nominated with, so thank you to my fellow nominees for your incredible work.

"I've been very blessed in my life, I was raised in a family who put a high priority on art, curiosity and art. I've benefitted from incredible teachers and had advice from very good friends and I've been supported by an incredible wife and three great children on the way. I'm go grateful for this."

After a string of thank yous for those involved in the show, Noah paid tribute to "all the healthcare workers in the world" and had a special message for his spouse Sara Wells, the mother of his youngest daughter, 10-year-old Frances.

He said: "To my beautiful wife Sarah, I hope you're enjoying your party."

Meanwhile, the Best Male Actor - Musical or Comedy award went to Seth Rogen for The Studio, just months after the show satirised the ceremony.

He laughed as he took to the stage: "This is so weird! We just pretended to do this. And now it is happening!

"I thought the only way I would get to hold one is to create a show to give myself a fake one."

Seth also jokingly took aim at Only Murders in the Building stars Steve Martin and Martin short, who were nominated for the award alongside Adam Brody (Nobody Wants This), Glen Powell (Chad Powers) and Jeremy Allen White (The Bear).

He said: "The other nominees, it's incredible. Steve Martin, Martin Short especially. I remember growing up, watching you guys my whole life thinking 'One day, I'm gonna beat them.' ... I did not think that."
