Hailee Steinfeld was "distracted" before the Golden Globes by her husband Josh Allen's NFL playoff game

The 29-year-old actress has revealed that she was preoccupied in the lead-up to last Sunday's (11.01.26) awards ceremony as she watched the Buffalo Bills quarterback lead his team to victory against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Hailee - who is expecting her first child with Josh - wrote in her Beau Society newsletter: "The day of the Globes, something exciting was on TV I'm sure you were all watching. Kickoff just happened to be at the same time as glam, so I was a little (lot) distracted."

The Sinners star was able to cheer on the Bills while getting ready for the ceremony in Los Angeles and was grateful to her glam team, who worked around the NFL game to perfect her red carpet look.

Steinfield wrote: "My glam team is incredible at what they do and worked around my constant movement. Andrew (Fitzsimons, my hairstylist) warned me every time an iron was close to my face, so I didn't accidentally burn myself."

The actress also praised her makeup artists Ash Kholm and Tom Bachik for applying cosmetics between major plays in the clash.

Hailee penned: "Ash waited for a commercial break to do my eyeliner. I don't know how Tom painted my nails with my hands flying around, but he got it done. Dream team."

After watching her husband's sporting triumph, the Arcane star enjoyed herself at the Golden Globes.

Hailee wrote: "I got to put on a gorgeous Prada dress to spend a night out with my new plus one and reconnect with friends I haven't seen in years.

"The fabric flowed over my bump just so. I loved the peach-pink colour and how the beading made it look almost liquid."

She added: "It felt like the perfect balance of feminine, beautiful, elegant and a little whimsical. Magically, it needed no alterations other than lengthening the slip a few inches. And it's Prada - kind of a no-brainer."

Hailee and Josh revealed last month that they are expecting their first child together.

The Hollywood star listed 29 things she was grateful for as she marked her 29th birthday in her newsletter, with the final entry being a video of her bare baby bump.
