Teddi Mellencamp started therapy amid her cancer battle

The 44-year-old reality TV star has revealed that she turned to therapy during her cancer battle, admitting that it's "taken its toll on [her]".

Teddi - who announced in 2025 that she was "cancer-free" after her melanoma battle, but continues to undergo immunotherapy treatments for stage 4 cancer - said on the Two T's in a Pod podcast: "I think [medications and immunotherapy] take a toll on my body, and I think that I also didn't properly process all of the things that happened when I had surgery.

"From my divorce to all of a sudden being in emergency surgery, to not being able to see my kids when I was recovering. I think all of those things are starting to finally hit me now."

Teddi admits that her experience has taken a toll on her. However, she's also learned some invaluable lessons in the process.

The reality TV star - who separated from Edwin Arroyave in 2024 - said: "I started doing therapy, and it's taken its toll on me. I've learned that there are certain things, like it's hard for me to touch and move. I can see that I'm slower than I was before, and that's really frustrating to me. I want to be back to the way I was."

Meanwhile, Teddi previously revealed that her cancer treatment was causing her to suffer from "severe anxiety".

The TV personality - who underwent surgery and radiation treatment - explained that her immunotherapy sessions left her feeling highly anxious for "no apparent reason".

In a video posted on Instagram, Teddi said: "OK for those of y'all who've gone through immunotherapy, did you have severe anxiety? Just on random days for no apparent reason?

"Like today I was able to walk, I did the [Two Ts in a Pod] podcast and now I'm just sitting here full of anxiety. Is this common?

"What are things that you guys have done to help make you feel better? Let me know. Looking for any positive advice."
