Bad Bunny married a couple during his Super Bowl halftime show after they invited him to their wedding

The Latin superstar, 31, took to the stage to entertain the crowd at the Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California on Sunday (08.02.26) as the New England Patriots took on the Seattle Seahawks and the show featured a couple dressed in white tying the knot while guest Lady Gaga performed Die With a Smile and Bad Bunny sang Baile Inolvidable. It has now been revealed the ceremony was real and came after the unnamed bride and groom previously invited Bad Bunny to their wedding and he suggested staging the ceremony at the sports event instead.

A press release from Bad Bunny's representatives explained: "After inviting Bad Bunny to attend their wedding, the couple was instead invited to be part of the Apple Music Halftime Show ... where they were married live, with him serving as a witness and signing the marriage certificate, complete with a wedding cake."

The couple were seen cutting a cake during the performance and feeding each other a slice.

Bad Bunny previously admitted he was suffering sleepless nights ahead of the huge gig.

During an interview with Apple Music's Zane Lowe and Ebro Darden, he joked he had been preparing for the Super Bowl by "eating smashburgers" before adding: "I've been working on this show, what we're gonna do next Sunday, it's a lot. Thinking about the Super Bowl at 4am, that's what I've been doing. It's been hard to not.

"I'm happy but I'm just processing, taking one day at a time. I just try to take it easy. Wake up, work out, drink my coffee, try not to think too much about it.

"Last night I couldn't sleep, I was thinking about it. I want to think it's 13 minutes of doing what I love, what I like. I know I'm gonna have fun.

"All the crew, all the people. They're going to have fun that day. That's what I'm trying to focus. Just enjoy the moment, enjoy what is happening, what I'm doing. Trying not to put pressure or something on it."
