Pink has blasted "fake news" that she has separated from her husband

The Cover Me in Sunshine hitmaker shared a video with fans in which she addressed reports that she and Carey Hart - with whom she has Willow, 14, and nine-year-old Jameson - had split after 20 years of marriage and joked she was unaware of the upheaval in her personal life until she read the news online.

She captioned her post: "Like I always say. If you don't hear it from me, don't believe the hype. Stay tuned though! Who knows what could happen next!?!"

In the video, Pink said: "So, I was just alerted to the fact that I'm separated from my husband. I didn't know."

She went on to name two news outlets and thanked them for "letting me know."

She added: "I was wondering, would you also like to tell our children, my 14 year old and nine year old are also unaware."

Pink suggested news outlets focus on other topics than her and Carey's marriage, including her own accomplishments.

She continued: "Or do you want to talk about some real news? Do you wanna talk about the Epstein files? Do you wanna talk about systemic racism or misogyny in sports?

"Or how classy the women's hockey team is, or how eight of the 12 medals won in the Olympics this year for the US were won by women.

"Or do you maybe want to talk about the fact that I got nominated the first year I was eligible for the Rock and Roll m************ Hall of Fame? Do you want to talk about my accomplishments, or do you only want to talk about my supposed demise?"

She concluded her video by urging such publiations to "do better".

She said: "Fake news, not true. I love you all, go with God.

"Trash news, you can do better."

The 46-year-old singer got engaged to the 50-year-old motocross rider back in 2005, after meeting at the 2001 Summer X Games in Philadelphia. Pink and Carey married in Costa Rica in January 2006, but the couple separated two years later.

They confirmed their reconciliation in the spring of 2009, after calling off their divorce.

Carey told People at the time: "We're rebuilding.

"Sometimes you have to take a couple of steps backwards to move forward."

Pink also revealed that therapy had played a big role in their reconciliation.

The pop star admitted that they needed to "fix the problems" before reuniting.

Pink - whose real name is Alecia Moore - told People: "Long-term relationships are not easy.

"It is much easier to stay in the solid days and jump from relationship to relationship, because then you don't have to fix the problems that keep recurring. You have to end up fixing yourself; you can't fix the other person. So it can be challenging, and there's good days and there's bad days."

The singer also revealed that she readjusted her expectations ahead of reuniting with Carey.

Pink stressed at the time that she didn't want to "break up [her] family".

She said: "I think it's an impossible expectation for you to think that you're going to evolve at exactly the same pace as another person in exactly the same direction. So it takes work to redefine what's important.

"I don't want to break up my family. That's been my main goal, since I had a broken family. Sometimes you have to let it go. You can't die on every mountain."
