Former All Black Sonny Bill Williams is saluting the choice of Dave Rennie as the new national men's rugby coach

The two-time World Cup-winner was part of the 20-12 Super Rugby-winning Chiefs squad during Rennie's first year in charge.

Williams says Rennie's straight up with players and is very clear on the game plan ... plus his focus on team culture will be crucial.
