Running with and against Nick Willis at the Tokyo Olympics is the goal for Sam Tanner this year

The 20-year-old is working towards qualifying for the 1500 metres at the Games.

Willis has broken the four-minute mile barrier at 37 this week, completing the feat for a world record 19th consecutive year.

Tanner says that's something he can harness.
