If you have a few blackened, overripe bananas in your fruit bowl at home, they are the perfect ingredient for banana bread or a smoothie.

This recipe for is not only a comforting, humble cake, but it's incredibly easy and quick to put together.

Or try for a bed-friendly option for Mum.

    Allergy-friendly option

are gluten free, dairy free and egg free, making them a free-for-all for almost everyone who loves a fritter.

The recipe contains chickpea flour (aka besan), which is free from gluten and also behaves like egg when enough liquid is added.
