Tupou Vaa'i has been tasked with moving to the blindside flank in a new-look All Blacks pack for Saturday's first test of the year against France

The Chiefs lock will shift to the six jersey, allowing Fabian Holland to make his test debut in the second-row alongside captain Scott Barrett.

Coach Scott Robertson says Vaa'i knows the role they want him to play well.
