    A person's been arrested for throwing a bottle at a Police vehicle during a crack down on anti-social road users in Manawatu


    Operation Purple saw at least 250 breath tests conducted, 58 infringements, nine vehicles stickered and two licence suspensions in and around central Palmerston North overnight.

    Three people were also arrested.

    The operation was supported by staff from Whanganui, Taranaki, Wellington, and Hawke's Bay.
