    Singer-songwriter Chris Rea , best known for the hit Driving Home for Christmas, has died aged 74

    Singer-songwriter Chris Rea , best known for the hit Driving Home for Christmas, has died aged 74


    He had suffered health problems including pancreatic cancer, and had a stroke in 2016.

    Rea died in hospital after a short illness.
