    Chelsea have appointed Liam Rosenior as their new manager on a long-term deal


    He replaces Enzo Maresca - who departed on Friday after an 18 month stint at the helm.

    Rosenior was an assistant under Wayne Rooney at Championship club Derby, and has spent the last year and a half in charge of French club Strasbourg.

    He's returned to France shortly after putting pen to paper at Chelsea ... to give his reasons for leaving, mid-season.
