    A bipartisan group of US senators have visited Greenland as President Donald Trump continues to threatening to takeover the Arctic island


    President Trump says he will place tariffs on countries who oppose his plan to acquire the mineral dense Danish territory.

    Germany, Sweden, Norway, France and Denmark have sent troops into the area for exercises.

    Republican Senator Lisa Murkowski says the American people aren't on board.

    She says about 75 percent of surveyed Americans are against it.
