The National Road Carriers Association's warning fuel price hikes will be passed onto customers

Earlier this week, the Association confirmed they'd seen the first impact on the war in the Middle East with suppliers increasing the price of diesel.

Association Policy and Advocacy General Manager James Smith says increased transport costs will likely flow to supermarket shelves and products delivered by truck.

He says this is the largest jump in fuel prices since 2008 at the beginning of the Global Financial Crisis, and more increases are likely.
