Kiwis playmaker Kodi Nikorima is pumped for a possible reunion with former Warriors teammate Shaun Johnson in the halves for the upcoming Pacific Championships

The pair last teamed up in 2022 during Nikorima's final season at Mount Smart.

Both players are also in the Kiwis squad for the first time since 2019, with Johnson coming out of retirement to play for New Zealand following incumbent halfback Jahrome Hughes' neck injury.

Nikorima is looking forward to the prospect of being Johnson's final halves partner in his career.
