The Medical Council's introducing a faster pathway for International Medical Graduates from the UK, Ireland and Australia - to work here

Overseas doctors will be able to get specialist registration in general practice, psychiatry, dermatology, emergency medicine, anaesthesia, internal medicine and pathology faster.

Applications can be processed within 20 working days from November, for eligible doctors with approved specialist qualifications.
