Selena Gomez once hired out an entire botanical garden for a date with boyfriend Benny Blanco

The 36-year-old music producer - who is featured in PEOPLE's 2024 Sexiest Man Alive issue - has given an insight into his relationship with the 'Lose You to Love Me' singer and how they go above and beyond for each other when it comes to spending time together

The loved-up pair - who have been dating for more than a year now - enjoy waking up early in the morning before the rest of the world to spend time together and love to surprise each other with unique date activities.

Speaking to the magazine, Benny said: "I'm a real morning person.

It's my favourite time to spend with Sel, because we both wake up really early. It's like our moment before the rest of the world wakes up."

Benny gushed that "every day is the best day of my life" with the 32-year-old singer in his life.

He said: "I have a true best friend that I get to do everything in the world with, and every day is the best day of my life."

Revealing one of their most memorable surprise dates, Benny said: "I go all out for every date. We go all out for each other.

"One time Sel was like, 'Oh, I want to take you on a date.' We drove somewhere, and she had rented out a whole botanical garden for me."

The 'Only Murders in the Building' star is just as happy spending time at home chilling with her favourite snacks prepared by her beau.

Benny said: "She also likes something so simple. For Valentine's Day, I got her Taco Bell, I made her movie-theatre nachos, I found her favourite pickles from Texas and I deep-fried them for her. Then [I had] all her candies and Hot Cheetos."

When it comes to presents, the couple like to make each other sentimental handmade gifts.

He shared: "The first time me and Sel were really going to be long distance for a while, she made a bear that when I pressed its hand, it said, 'I miss you so much. You're going to be okay. I'll see you when I get back.'

"She's very good at gifting. She does the same thing as me: Most of our gifts, we make them for each other."
