Slow construction growth should improve into this year

New figures from CoreLogic's Construction Cost Index shows the cost for building a standard dwelling had risen only 0.6 percent late last year, a slowing from Covid-era surges.
Chief Property Economist, Kelvin Davidson, says things won't improve quickly, but certainty will increase, as mortgage rates drop.
Davidson says the results aren't surprising but remains hopeful the industry will pick up.
