An Australian woman has been charged murder, after a house fire that killed three of her children

An Australian woman has been charged murder, after a house fire that killed three of her children

Seven people were inside a home at Toowoomba , inland from Brisbane, when a fire ripped through at midnight last Wednesday.

The body of a nine-year-old boy was found inside, while two girls - aged four and seven - died at hospital.

Channel Nine's Makenna Baily says the 36-year old woman escaped injured, alongside her partner, an 18-year-old and 11-year-old.

She says 36-year-old Ellouisa Brighton remains in a critical condition, and under police guard, in intensive care.
