Our newsroom's revealed more than 200 people were able to enter New Zealand on work visas for defunct businesses later exposed as fronts for a network of cannabis grow houses in Auckland

Many were Vietnamese nationals, duped into coming to the country with false promises of employment.

Police Operation Clementine identified 38 registered companies with connections to the properties where the cannabis 'grow houses' were busted.

Deportation notices were issued to 38 people, two others left voluntarily.
