Cameron Diaz sees cooking as her "love language"

The 'What Happens in Vegas' star has enjoyed cooking for her husband Benji Madden and her 10-month-old Raddix during lockdown and admits being able to cook for her little girl has been "incredible"

Speaking to The Rachael Ray Show, she said: "The first four months, I cooked every single meal. Then we slowly started going, 'Well, maybe we’ll order a lunch. Maybe we’ll order a dinner.' But for the most part, I'm cooking all the meals. I love to cook. It’s my love language.

"I love to cook for my husband, I love to cook for my child now. Being able to make the food for her has been incredible. She's never had a puree. She never got anything pureed. She's had garlic from day one, you know? I put herbs in everything. Thyme and dill, sage, everything. She just loves all of it."

Meanwhile, Cameron previously revealed she "entered the best phase of my life" with motherhood.

The 48-year-old actress said: "In the last seven months I've entered the best phase of my life: motherhood! So it's been all about my home and family. And I am trying to participate in a thoughtful way in the larger and most important conversation that our society is currently engaged in."

And Cameron has revealed Benji has penned songs for Raddix.

Asked what music she is listening to in lockdown, she said: "Well, since we have a little one, we are really jamming out to some Sesame Street jams. We got 'Baby Shark' in the mix, and of course Benj has written at least a dozen songs for her. So we are doing serious upbeat and often a cappella jams over here."
