Concerns victims of elder abuse aren't speaking out

Concerns victims of elder abuse aren't speaking out

Today is World Elder Abuse Awareness day

Age Concern says they deal with up to three cases of elder abuse a day in Auckland alone.

Types of abuse include physical, financial and psychological.

Age Concern Auckland CEO Kevin Lamb says abuse is all too common.

He says one in ten elderly people will be abused or neglected.
