    A milk spill is causing ongoing delays on the main road north of New Plymouth


    Police say a milk tanker and car collided on State Highway 3 south of Mt Messenger just before 5am, piercing the tanker.

    A large quantity of milk and cream has spilt, making the road slippery.

    The clean-up is continuing and there are no diversions in place.
