    A Central Otago cyclist has been seriously injured, after a hit-and-run


    The person was struck by a vehicle in Cromwell this morning.

    It happened at the intersection of Shortcut Road and Partridge Road just before 8am.

    Police say the vehicle involved left the scene immediately and they have yet to speak to the driver.

    The vehicle is described as a metallic blue double cab ute, with a bull bar and off-road tyres.
