Beyonce is focusing on her "health" and "eating clean"

The 43-year-old pop superstar has revealed she's been trying her best to stay healthy this summer and has overhauled her diet - revealing she's given up all meat except for turkey - and is making sure she takes all her supplements and works out when she can.

She told GQ magazine: "I've been trying to focus on my health, taking my supplements, and eating very clean. I've given up meat, except for turkey, this summer. I'm trying to muster the strength to work out, but I just can't do it today. Maybe tomorrow ... "

Beyonce has dabbled with veganism in the past, but has insisted she tends to switch her diet up regularly rather than sticking to one thing.

Back in 2015, she talked to the New York Times about taking part in a 22 Day vegan challenge. She explained: "At first it's the little things I noticed: I had more energy ... The benefits of a plant-based diet need to be known. We should spend more time loving ourselves, which means taking better care of ourselves with good nutrition and making healthier food choices ...

"[I had] a noticeable glow to my skin without having to deprive myself of carbs. I even slept better."

In the new interview with GQ, the singer - who is promoting her new drinks brand SirDavis whisky - went on to talk about her worries about current technology including artificial intelligence and the struggle to keep her three young children safe online.

She added: "We live in a world of access. We have access to so much information - some facts, and some complete b******* disguised as truth.

"Our children can FaceTime and see their friends at any given moment. My husband and I? We used calling cards and Skype when we were falling in love. I couldn't afford the international hotel bills, so I literally would get international calling cards to call him.

"Just recently, I heard an AI song that sounded so much like me it scared me. It's impossible to truly know what's real and what's not."
