The plane departed Wellington about 4:20 this afternoon, with 154 passengers and crew onboard.
Chief Operational Integrity and Safety Officer Captain David Morgan says the airline's working with local authorities and following its standard protocols.
9News reports that emergency services have now all been stood down.
Aviation expert Geoffrey Thomas says it's been an extraordinary week for bomb threats, with 35 in India alone.
