    Tight death bowling has taken Canterbury to a one-run win over Otago in cricket's 50-over Ford Trophy at Dunedin after posting 322 for seven


    Canterbury go top above Auckland after they lost by six wickets to Central Districts at Eden Park's outer oval.

    That result sees the Stags climb off the bottom and up to fourth.

    Wellington beat Northern Districts by four wickets at the Basin Reserve.

    The Firebirds stay third while the Brave are last - the Volts are fifth.
