The Government's again singing the praises of Police

The Government's again singing the praises of Police

Lobby group the Sensible Sentencing Trust's put up satirical billboards depicting Green MPs, with the line - "Defund Da Police, vote Green".

Wellington MP Tamatha Paul's criticised beat policing - and played Sound of Da Police during a deejay set.

Although the Greens never called for it, the Government's now promising to NOT de-fund Police.

Greens co-leader Chloe Swarbrick says she wants genuine discussion on community safety, but it's clear some people aren't keen on that.
