    Andrew Little has called excessive rates rises in the capital unacceptable


    The former Labour leader has officially launched his campaign for the Wellington mayoralty.

    He says he's committed to making the council more transparent, more democratic and more accountable to the people of Wellington.

    His policies include investing into community facilities including Khandallah pool, Begonia House and suburban libraries.
