The Warriors will be extra wary, ahead of their match in Brisbane, after one of their opponents received added motivation

    - article from www.rugbyleague.co.nz

Newcastle star Kalyn Ponga is out of the State of Origin series decider, due to the foot injury the Knights captain picked up in last night's loss to Canberra.

That potentially opens the door for Broncos star Reece Walsh to return to the Queensland number one jersey ... if the fullback can impress against the Warriors.

Walsh has sparked a Broncos' resurgence in the last two matches, having returned from his own lengthy injury lay-off.

Warriors assistant coach Richard Agar wants his men to starve the star fullback of time and space whenever he's in possession.

Kickoff's from 5pm at Suncorp Stadium.
