Silver Ferns great Laura Langman is dubious of suggestions players would be scared to speak out or get things wrong under estranged coach Dame Noeline Taurua

Newstalk ZB has been told up to seven team members felt unsafe in the environment, triggering the players' association to request a review by Netball New Zealand without Taurua's knowledge.

The governing body has subsequently stood her down from the South Africa series starting Sunday week.

Langman, who captained Taurua's team to the 2019 World Cup triumph, has questioned the circumstances.
