A survey commissioned by MYOB has found only 15-percent of people are planning to spend more on gifts.
The average Christmas food and drink budget is 415-dollars, and the average gift budget is 140-dollars.
Almost a quarter of Kiwis will take on more credit than previous years to fund their Christmas.
Almost a quarter will rely on a side hustle, a bonus, or extra seasonal work.
