Rieko Ioane has been thrust back into the All Blacks midfield for the first time this year

Rieko Ioane has been thrust back into the All Blacks midfield for the first time this year

He had been discarded from the centre jersey and moved to the right wing before being dropped completely by coach Scott Robertson.

The recall comes as part of a revamped side to meet Wales in Cardiff on Sunday morning.

Three players - captain and lock Scott Barrett, flanker Simon Parker and fullback-turned-right-wing Will Jordan - remain from the run-on side in last week's loss to England.
