Cuba's declared two days of national mourning, after multiple citizens were killed in the Venezuelan President's capture

Cuba's declared two days of national mourning, after multiple citizens were killed in the Venezuelan President's capture

The US forcibly took Nicolas Maduro in a military operation over the weekend.

He'll stand trial in New York on drugs and weapons charges.

Al Jazeera's Scott McLean says Cuba's announced 32 citizens - who were armed force and intelligence agency members - died as a result of the operation.

Trump's recently criticised the Cuban government, saying Cuba looks like it's ready to fall.
