The Wellington Phoenix will at least match their best A-League football table finish

The Wellington Phoenix will at least match their best A-League football table finish

Brisbane's 1-all draw with Sydney FC means the Phoenix can drop no lower than fourth.

A win over Newcastle in their final regular season game on Thursday would see them guarantee third spot, while they could still claim second if Melbourne City slip up in their final two matches.

The finals series starts on Saturday week.
