    This year's Labour Weekend has been the deadliest in nearly a decade - with eight people losing their lives in crashes


    The last time it was this high was in 2011.

    The latest is motorcyclist who died yesterday, after being injured in a crash on State Highway One, near Turangi, on Saturday.
