    Metservice says Severe weather for parts of the North Island has now eased


    All watches and warnings have now been lifted.

    Road snow warnings in the central north Island have also been lifted, but Arthurs Pass and the Milford Road in the South could still be affected.

    The severe weather passed with no major problems, although Auckland emergency services reported 11 call outs.
