Court appearances today for two people after the death of PHD student Kyle Whorrall at a bus stop in Auckland on Saturday

Court appearances today for two people after the death of PHD student Kyle Whorrall at a bus stop in Auckland on Saturday

A 16-year old male has been charged with aggravated robbery and murder...and a 32-year old female faces charges of being an accessory.

Police have also located a black SUV of interest and a forensic examination is underway.

They're still trying to find the driver of a white Toyota Ute, which was cut off by the SUV.

The arrests come as students and staff from the nearby St John's Theological College hold a vigil for Kyle Whorrall.

Organisers say they want to reclaim the neighbourhood.
