    Home detention and reparations have been handed to three people for their role in an attempted 1.5-million dollar ACC heist


    Open Justice reports 1044 people bombarded the My ACC app in November 2023 with fake travel reimbursement applications.

    Over 650-thousand was distributed, while real applicants were forced to wait for payments when the app was shut down.

    Two women in their 30s and a man in his 40s have been sentenced to six, five, and four months home detention, with two required to pay reparations.

    A 32 year old women, identified as the most culpable, will be sentenced on Monday.
