Cara Delevingne says beauty routine shifts with her mood

Cara Delevingne revealed she adapts her skincare and makeup habits based on how she feels, finding peace and creativity in the act of getting ready, even more than attending events themselves.

Cara Delevingne, 33, told WWD that she doesn't follow a rigid skincare or makeup routine and instead lets her mood guide her beauty habits. "It's about meeting myself where I'm at," she explained. She finds the process of getting ready meditative and more enjoyable than the events themselves. "Forget the party, it's about getting ready sometimes for me." Cara, who has spoken openly about her struggles with depression and anxiety, shared with Elle that being honest about her mental health felt like lifting a weight. "I felt like I was hiding a lot from people who looked up to me," she said. "Now I just feel free." Despite past negative experiences in the modelling industry, she maintains friendships with peers like Jourdan Dunn and Karlie Kloss.
