Howard Stern has hit back at Kim Kardashian after she claimed he accused her of faking her 2016 Paris robbery

The 45-year-old reality TV star was held at gunpoint and robbed of around $10 million in jewellery after armed intruders burst into her hotel room in the French capital with eight people eventually being convicted over the heist - and in the latest episode of Kim's show The Kardashians she looked back on the incident and claimed she'd been hurt by Stern telling listeners of his SiriusXM radio show that she "made it all up".

However, Stern is adamant he never said that and even replayed the recording of his 2016 show to prove his point. During Tuesday's (09.12.25) episode of The Howard Stern Show, he said: "[Kim] accused me of saying that she faked her Paris robbery attempt. So, we went back and looked up what I said, and nothing could be further from the truth ...

"If anything, I would say, now tell me if I'm wrong, I would characterize that discussion as a very fair assessment that some people are saying it's fake, which was true.

"And we said: 'We don't think it's fake. We think that she went through something horrible. Some guys came into her room and threw her in a bathtub and pointed a gun at her'. And I said: 'That's really frightening' ..."

Stern added: "By the way, let me say something: I have said so many awful things in my career. You don't need to make up stuff. You could certainly find every awful thing I've said. It's no secret."

In the 2016 recording, Stern was heard telling his co-host Robin Quivers: "If this woman was robbed at gunpoint by a bunch of dudes, and they threw her in a bathtub and tied her up, or whatever they did, I mean that is a f****** ...

"That is frightening. If it is a farce then really they should go to jail for that."

Quivers then said: "Well, I don't think it is" and Stern added: "I don't either".

The shock jock then joked: "The one time the Kardashians don't have a camera, something interesting [happens]."

During last week's episode of The Kardashians, Kim teared up as she talked about Stern's 2016 response to her robbery, saying: "Howard Stern was famously mocking it all the time.

"He was saying that I'm sick and it's such a joke and I made it all up. I remember he was so defiant about it. And I was like: 'How can you be so certain?' People trust you.' That always stuck with me."
